The Critical Moment Collective cordially invites you to an action packed night of dissent, art and music. The Summer 2013 issue will be hot off the presses and features pieces on topics weighing heavy on every Detroiters’ mind: gentrification, environment, “emergency managers”, so called “right to work” and a whole lot more. This issue has quite a few surprises and may just be our best yet! (to be fair, we say that after every issue)

Most members of the collective will be present to chat about our work and would love to hear feedback on this or any previous issue. We’ll have bundles of papers available for anyone kind enough to help with distribution. Drinks will be available for donation and the event is also BYOB.

During the release party, there will be a silent art auction fundraiser for the paper featuring donated pieces from our generous supporters. Proceeds go to help cover the printing costs of Critical Moment. Instructions for the auction will be available on the night of.
