Mark your calendars for Thursday, Oct. 3. It’s sure to be a milestone of a day for independent media in Detroit, because Critical Moment will be celebrating its tenth anniversary (and the release of our new Fall issue).
Topics for our Fall 2013 edition include thoughts on the mayoral race, the battle to keep open the city’s Oakman Orthopedic school, a look back at the paper’s early years and a piece on the RAIZ UP hip-hop collective.
The release party will be going down at the 1515 Broadway Cafe in downtown Detroit at 7pm on Oct. 3. So join us for music, discussion and good times as we kick off our tenth year of fighting for truth, justice and liberating new visions of life in Southeast Michigan.
We hope to see everyone there — and we’re putting out a special call for Critical Moment alum to show up and share in the special occasion. Excelsior!
